The telephone socket outlet is intended for standard cat. 4 RJ11 type connections. For VOIP (voice of IP) telephone connections it will be necessary to use the data socket outlet (V305WT / BK) due to the category rating requirements.

The data socket-outlet is intended for any standard cat. 6 RJ45 type connections and can also be used for any category ratings less than cat 6 such as cat 4, cat 5, and cat 5e. The data module is also ideal for all VOIP (voice over IP) telephone connections. The housing is made from a high-quality polycarbonate plastic and incorporates a pictogram on the front face to easily identify the application.
